Things have been fairly boring for me lately. I had the forks serviced and suspension readjusted a while back, the bike rides much better now. The oil container I ordered a couple months ago finally arrived so I changed the oil and pulled a sample to send off for analysis.
Last week I found a set of used Helibars Tracstar clip ons for half price so I snatched them up. Got the Renthals removed and the Helibars installed without too much issue this past week. The bars are up and back now by quite a bit giving a more upright position. They also look very similar to stock and are a one piece design, very high quality.
Other than that I've been making small tuning adjustments to the ECU as well as the quickshifter and just trying to smooth it out a little more. Still waiting for WRT to release the new log box pro, but not a big deal right now. Looking at removing the rear brake reservoir and installing a smaller front reservoir in the near future. Need to get a piece to replace the bracket I currently have (trying to see if the company who made the bracket will sell just the plate from the kit). If I can't get the plate I may make some new plates from carbon fiber. I'll also be picking up some 8mm Tygon tubing, clips and an HRC vent cap for the new rear "reservoir". Might have this done by the end of the month.
-Update: Ordered a piece of carbon fiber plate to make the foot peg blocking plates from and also ordered the 8mm Tygon tube and HRC cap today. Need to stop by a hardware shop to pick up the clips this week. The company who makes the current plate/bracket I have wants $12 for the plate. The piece of carbon fiber plate cost me $5 and I'll just need to cut it to the correct shape.

Still have a clunking in the front on rebound. Taking it to my suspension tech next Saturday to get the forks pulled apart and checked out as well as new thicker oil put in and new seals installed plus retuning the suspension. I'll be down near my brother's place so we're going to meet up for lunch after. Hopefully the noise is nothing major and is easily fixed.

The past few weeks I've noticed the front feeling kind of clunky going over bumps. Decided to pick up a Graves 3-1 wrench yesterday from my dealer and tightened up the head bearings. Managed to pull the steering stem up about 1mm, so the bearings were pretty loose. My dealer wanted $40 to do the job, the tool was $60 and works on the steering head and swing arm. It paid for itself the first time I used it (also checked the swing arm pivot shaft). Then there's the satisfaction from doing it yourself, that's the best part.
