Looks good. I'd find a way to tie the center of the MDF panels together where they meet (prevent warping at the seams).
Is it going to be okay putting plaster on MDF? I know MDF wicks water and then swells causing it to deteriorate. Hate to see that happen to your project. Drywall/gypsum may be a better option for plaster since it can form a bond with the outer paper. If you wanted heavy duty I'd say something like Hardie backer board, but that's a bit extreme.

You're asking a highly delicate question here
I think a couple of years in prison should be enough for such a young (not yet adult in mind) boy. Maybe he still has the chance to change...
My reason for asking is due to the "subhuman" comments. If he was truly considered subhuman I'd expect somebody to say life in prison as there is no hope for reform.Personally I agree with your assessment, in the US a 10-15 year sentence would likely get parole in 3-5 years for good behavior.
As for the death penalty for something like this in the US, never going to happen. Manslaughter is typically a 5-15 year sentence depending on the state and circumstances. The death penalty is typically reserved for first degree/capital murder and only 31 states have a death penalty.

I have a question, what is the opinion for a reasonable sentence/punishment for the crime in question (gross negligent manslaughter). From what I read he didn't seem to have much remorse, although some coaching from a lawyer may have changed that now. Videos seem to show a reckless nature and other evidence shows disregard for local laws.
Personally, with all this stacked up, I'd say 10-15 years prison with the possibility for early parole based on behavior.
If I was in a similar situation, I'd expect the exact same.

Looks like a much better quality way to go. When do we get pics of the progress?
